Hello- first time blogger, long-time reader...I have an S&W .38 Special CTG (model 10 or 15 w/ 3 inch barrel) from late 70's with serial # D941xxx and was wondering how much these would go for if I tried to sell it...Only fired a total of 100ish rounds and I hear they go for $300-$400.

If it says ".38 S&W CTG" on the barrel, it should have a V in front of those numbers you posted and, Yes, it has been reamed to allow .38 Special to fully insert. The V may be on one side of the butt with the lanyard ring between it and the numbers.Welcome to the forum. "CTG" is the standard abbreviation for cartridge.
