Feb 2024 • Couples. An old pre civil war and civil war fort on the Dauphin Island in Mobile Bay. Pretty intact with a good walking tour pamphlet that lets you go at your own pace. Price is reasonable at $10 per person plus fee for credit card transaction. Very interesting with a little museum with artifacts.

Although the beaches of Dauphin Island are pet friendly most restaurants are not!! We were there on a Monday in august. Some restaurants were closed however after a long day at the beach we could NOT find a pet friend restaurant and left via the ferry very hungry.
