What is happening is doordash is trying to make up for the collapse of sales in the month of January by purposely and unethically deactivating dashers for no reason whatsoever in order to pocket the balance of their accounts to make up the difference for the loss of sales.

At any rate, its reasons like this that illustrate why you should never rely on doordash (or any gig app) as your sole source of income. You could get booted for reasons completely out of your control and left with nothing to show for it.

You can be deactivated for fraudulent behavior on the consumer app, abusing referral system, etc., so saying your stats are green doesn’t mean anything more than you most likely weren’t deactivated for something delivery-related. But you definitely did not get deactivated for “no reason”. 🙄
