I-485 case remains pending

Status changed to ‘case remains pending’ last week. This is a couple of weeks after being transferred to an NBC from the Texas service centre. Also, I have not filed any supplement J. Curious to know what this means…. My hunch is they don’t have an available visa for EB1/2/3 in this FY.
