Is the northstar v8 a good engine

Personally if you want an injected V8, skip right by those two. Story was different a couple years ago and the northstar & aurora were more desireable, but now GM's been making LS2 & LS 3 powered front drivers for a couple years. LS series V8s are the best engine in the junkyards, hands down.

Hi all thinking of getting a '94 deville with the 4.9 liter V8 motor I believe caddillac put this motor in the sedan deville from the mid '80's through the the '93 deville which was the last year for the deville before the '94 redesigned model debuted.If there's any truth to that story, that was one hell of a good reason to launch Northstar powered STS.
